Kimberley is located slightly northwest of Cranbrook, and is approximately a four-hour drive from Calgary. This popular year-round mountain destination offers something for everyone. During the summer, there are a number of golf courses in the area that are set against the majestic beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Visitors can also enjoy a ride on the narrow gauge Bavarian City Mining Railway and then quench their thirst with a stein of beer on the Kimberley Platzl, while listening to wandering minstrels and waiting for the giant cuckoo clock to chime on the hour.
