TBA The Kimberley International Old Time Accordion Championships take place annually during the second week in July. Competitions in 22 categories held, and guest performers come worldwide to participate in this event. More than $6,000 in bursaries to participants under 18 and over $12,000 in prizes. TBA If Kimberley has a signature event, this is it. Festivities at Julyfest include a parade, live Platzl entertainment, beer gardens and a family fun fair. Compeitions are a large part of the festival. Every year, soccer, fastball and bocceball players come from all over Alberta and BC to compete in various tournaments, and the competitions wrap up with a huge post-game party. Julyfest happens annually the third weekend in July.
Kimberley International Folk Festival + My Favorites
TBA Held every year on the Labour Day Weekend, this multicultural entertainment extraveganza celebrtes diversity and features artists from all over Canada and and USA.
